Technical Summary
1830 hours of drafting for this project meant that the drafting team needed to grow significantly.
The sharp angles and many corbel supports make this structure complex and fascinating. Corbels were often skewed at different angles to the beams which added another layer of complexity.
Match cast beams spanning large distances were bolted side-by-side to reduce the self-weight implications of one singular large beam.
Some beams have masses exceeding 80 tonnes.
