SCI's story began in 1979 when its founder Godfrey Smith started a precast manufacturing factory in Teralba NSW. Under his leadership, SCI has evolved to deliver creative precast construction solutions to the civil and building industries and become the benchmark for performance, quality and excellence.

We’ve continued to maintain a truly diverse engineering-grounded business that prides itself on providing constructible design solutions and advanced manufacturing processes for reinforced, pre-tensioned and post-tensioned precast concrete products. Our people form the foundations of our company and they perform with excellence and integrity in driving the company forward.

Today we remain a values-based company and continue to be a strategic partner to many of our valued clients. We operate one of the largest, most versatile and modern manufacturing facilities in Australia that allows us to provide our clients with precast outcomes that are leading-edge in quality and cost through the integration of experienced people with continuous process improvement and the utilisation of new production technologies.
